The petitioner, who is the father, filed this petition to produce the body of his daughter, named Kayalvizhi.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the detenue was produced before this Court. We examined the detenue, who came along with one Mukesh and she stated that she had a love affair with the said Mukesh and they got married recently in a temple at Tirunelveli. The detenue is aged 21 years and hence, we enquired her as to whether she wants to join with her father. She categorically stated that she already married Mukesh and hence, she wanted to go along with him.

3. In view of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this petition. Accordingly, this petition is closed. The respondent police

is directed to record the statement of the detenue and the above said Mukesh and close the case.
