This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.146 of 2016 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kalakkad Police Station, Tirunelveli District, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) & 506(ii) of IPC., and Sections 4 & 9 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003, as against the petitioner.
2. The learned Government Advocate (crl. side) would submit that the first respondent police has completed the investigation in Crime No.146 of 2016 and also filed a charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C. No.421 of 2019.
