O R D E R
The order of suspension dated 27.12.2013, passed by the respondent, is under challenge in the present writ petition.
2. The writ petitioner was placed under suspension on account of certain serious allegations.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent states that on account of the interim stay granted by this Court, the writ petitioner has been reinstated into service and now, he is working. The learned counsel further states that the respondent may be permitted to conclude the departmental disciplinary proceedings and pass orders.
4. It is made clear that the suspension order need not be reopened and the writ petitioner may be allowed to continue in service. However, in respect of the departmental disciplinary proceedings, the respondent shall proceed with the enquiry, conclude https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4
W.P.(MD) No.865 of 2014 the same as expeditiously as possible and pass final orders in the departmental disciplinary proceedings. The writ petitioner is also directed to co-operative for the early disposal of the departmental disciplinary proceedings and in the event of non-cooperation, the same may be recorded in the proceedings itself. This being the factum, the respondent shall conclude the proceedings as early as possible.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
