ORDER

This criminal original petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 186 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai insofar as the petitioner is concerned.

2.The petitioner Regina Begam has filed another criminal original petition in Crl.O.P(MD)No.406 of 2020 and in the said petition, it was represented that the parties have compromised the issue and accordingly, this Court has also referred the matter for Mediation. The Mediation Centre has also sent a report dated 06.01.2021 that the parties have arrived at a settlement. 3.In view of the subsequent criminal original petition filed by the petitioner, the learned Counsel appearing for petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this criminal original petition.

4. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
