ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the Respondent to register the Petitioner's Sale Deed dated 29.04.2025 with relating to the property 3 cents in Sy.No.240/5 and 8 cents in Sy.No.240/7 totally 11 cents in Poonampalayam Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District without insisting for production of the Patta.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that apart from the sale deed, he has produced all the relevant parent documents before the authority. It is a settled proposition of law that patta cannot determine the title. Therefore, the insistence on producing a patta is unnecessary. 3.Hence, the respondent is directed to to register the Petitioner's Sale Deed dated 29.04.2025 with relating to the property 3 cents in Sy.No.240/5 and 8 cents in Sy.No.240/7 totally 11 cents in Poonampalayam Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District without insisting for production of the Patta. This exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
