ORDER

The petitioner with a grievance that his complaint has not been enquired by the respondent Police has filed this petition seeking a direction to take action on his compliant dated 02.05.2022 and 07.12.2024.

2.The petitioner claims that he is a farmer and he has purchased some fertilizers from the third respondent. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the third respondent has given a wrong fertilizer, which caused damage to the crops. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against the third respondent and filed this petition to take action on his complaint.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submits that for the very same issue, the petitioner has already approached District Consumer Forum and an award of Rs.23,000/- has also been awarded to the petitioner as a compensation. Therefore, the complaint of the petitioner has been closed. 2/4

4.The allegations levelled by the petitioner has to be considered by the Consumer Forum and the petitioner has also approached the Consumer Forum and obtained the relief. Therefore, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner enabling him to workout his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
