This Criminal Appeal is filed under section 14 (A) (2) of SC/ST(POA) Amended Act, 2015, to set aside the order passed by the Special Court for Trial of SC/ST Act Cases, Pudukkottai made in Crl.MP(MD)No.1020 of 2023 and allow this appeal by enlarging the appellant on bail in FIR No.146 of 2023 on the file of the Second respondent Police.
Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.SATHYA CHITHAMBARAM S, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, Government Advocate on behalf of the Respondents, the court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.A.(MD).No.455 of 2023 on 26.06.2023.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as per the direction of this Court, the petitioner is complying with the Conditions imposed by this Court regularly and hence he prayed to relax the condition. 2/4
3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that petitioner is complying with the conditions imposed by this Court regularly.
4. Considering the said submissions made on either side, the condition imposed as against the petitioner is modified and the petitioner is directed to report before the respondent police once in a week i.e., every Saturday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
