Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.KARTHIKEYAVENKITACHALAPATHI.M, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, GOVT. ADVOCATE (CRL. SIDE) on behalf of the Respondent and Mr.M.SOLAI SAMY, ADVOCATE for Intervenor the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed seeking extension of time granted in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13485 of 2021 dated 01.10.2021.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner undertook to pay only a sum of Rs.1 lakh at that relevant point of time, however, in the order, it was mentioned as if, 'the petitioner has to pay a full amount of Rs.4 lakhs', hence he seeks extension of time.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the defacto complainant has also confirmed the same that the offer made by the petitioner on that day, was only a sum of Rs.1 lakh.
4. Heard the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is allowed and the time is extended by ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, for the petitioner to comply with the order dated 01.10.2021 made in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.13485 of 2021.
