ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his application seeking transfer of patta dated 25.06.2025.
2. Heard Mr.K.S.Kathiravan, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased 60 cents in Survey No. 262/4 in Pulivalam, Kodiyalam Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichirapalli District under registered sale deed dated 05.05.2025. Based on the said sale deed the petitioner submitted an application on 25.06.2025 seeking mutation of the records. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come 2/6
before this Court.
4. Mr,M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. In view of the above submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and other interested parties, if any.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
