O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by RMT.TEEKAA RAMAN, J.] This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order, dated 22.01.2024, made in W.P.(MD) No.1100 of 2024.

2. It appears that pursuant to the directions issued by this Court in the above writ petition, the respondent has issued notice to both the petitioner as well as the contesting respondent in the above writ petition and they have also given statements. Besides this, it is also seen that necessary action has been taken and notice, as required under the Tamil Nadu Municipalities Act, 1998, has been issued by the respondent on 05.10.2023.

3. In view of the above, we do not find any disobedience of the directions issued by this Court in the above writ petition on part of the respondent. Hence, this contempt petition is closed. However, it is made

clear that the respondent is required to continue the proceedings initiated by him pursuant to the directions issued by this Court, which are stated above, till its logical conclusion.
