RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to grant extension of time for producing sureties as well as paying fine amount of Rs.15,000/- in Crl.OP(MD)No.8237/2020 dated 6.8.2020 on the file of this Hon'ble Court.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.KRISHNAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANITHI, Government Advocate(Criminal side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court. 2.By the order dated 06.08.2020 passed in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.8237 of 2020, the petitioner was ordered to be released on bail on condition that the petitioner should pay a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) to the credit of Madras High Court Madurai Bench, Advocate Clerk's Association, Madurai - 625 023 and further on execution of bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) along with two sureties for a likesum. 3.Periodically that order was extended by this Court on repeated petitions filed by the petitioner. CRL MP(MD) No.11154 of 2021 was presented before the concerned Court on 22.04.2021, which came to be returned stating that there is no extension order has been passed by this Court. It is a mistake on the part of the petitioner in not approaching the concerned Court within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.However, time granted by this Court vide order dated 06.08.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.8237 of 2020 is extended further for a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
