Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the second respondent in N.Dis.2182/A2/2014 dated 11.04.2014 and quash the same and consequently, direct the second respondent to permit the petitioner continue in the post of B.T. Assistant at the Government High School, Neyvasal, Pattukottai Education District, Thanjavur District till the end of the academic year 2014-15 on re-employment with all monetary and attendant benefits eligible for the persons who was re-employed on attaining the age of superannuation in the middle of the school year.

ORDER

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that the writ petitioner was employed as B.T. Assistant and retired from service. The Writ Petition is filed challenging the order of rejection, rejecting the claim of the writ petitioner to provide re-employment. However, pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court, the writ petitioner was allowed to continue till the end of the academic year and the benefit of reemployment as per the Government Orders were not extended to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.9191/2014 writ petitioner. However, the benefits are yet to be settled in favour of the writ petitioner.

2.In this regard, the writ petitioner is at liberty to submit a representation to the competent authorities, setting out the facts and details. In the event of receiving any such representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With these observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
