ORDER

The petitioner has lodged a complaint before the Inspector of Police and Sub Inspector attached to the Aruppukottai Town Police Station alleging that her husband has taken away her and her daughterin-law's jewels and pledged the same and refused to return the same. However, the Police Officials have favoured her husband and closed the same. Therefore, the petitioner has lodged a complaint as against the Inspector of Police and Sub Inspector attached to the Aruppukottai Town Police Station and filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondents herein to take appropriate action on her complaint, dated 17.07.2025.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submits that the complaint of the petitioner has been forwarded by the Superintendent of Police to the Additional 2/4

Superintendent of Police, Virudhunager District. The Additional Superintendent of Police has conducted enquiry and closed the same, on 19.07.2025.

3.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner enabling her to workout the remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
