This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to take action against the respondents 3 to 7 and to ensure the petitioner's participation in the Purattasi Festival at the Chinnadakki Amman Temple, Periyadakki Amman Temple and Andi Arasumugan Temple of Soorakundu Village.
2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner the respondent police has conducted detailed enquiry after issuing notice to the respondents 3 to 7 herein and the same was closed as civil in nature.
3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. No costs.
