O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking quashment of the FIR in Cr.No.977 of 2023 on the file of the respondent No.1 police.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has fairly submitted that the Investigating Officer has recorded the statement of a Principal of National College, Trichy, wherein the said Principal stated to have informed that the petitioner/accused No.5 was present in a meeting conducted on 15.07.2023, when the offences alleged to have been committed. It is submitted that as per the said statement, the petitioner/accused No.5 was not present in the scene of offence and that the same will be considered at the time of filing of the charge sheet.

3.Since the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has fairly submitted that the petitioner was not present in the scene of offence, no further orders are required to be passed in this case.

4.Accordingly, this Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
