This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the third respondent to grant patta to the petitioner with respect to the land in Old S.No.343/3, New S.No.493/19, to an extent of 0.75 cent situated at Nadakkapatti, Thogaimalai Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District. 2.The petitioner herself has stated that the land is Natham vacant land and she is a landless poor and she comes under the below poverty line and is a coolie worker. The land aforementioned is a vacant land and of-course, Government land. The petitioner had constructed a small tiled house and is living there. The petitioner had sought patta to the said land. She had given a representation in this regard on 15.09.2020. This representation was forwarded by the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Kuzhithalai, to the third respondent/Tahsildar, Kuzhithalai, by proceedings, dated 08.10.2020 in O.Mu.A1/3277/2020.
3.Heard Mr.R.Murugappan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

W.P.(MD)No.20666 of 2021 4.In view of the facts stated above, a direction is issued to the third respondent/Tahsildar to issue notice to the petitioner herein and thereafter, examine the possession of the petitioner over the aforesaid land, examine any other documents, as shown by the petitioner and after coming to personal satisfaction, proceed to do the needful. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the said observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
