O R D E R
The learned Senior Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioner had filed this Petition to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.215 of 2020 for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 447, 294(b), 323, 506(ii) I.P.C and under Section 4 of TNWH Act on the file of the first Respondent Police.
2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioners and the defacto complainant had entered into compromise and amicably settled the matrimonial dispute between them. Report of the Legal Services Authority of this Court had identified the Petitioners and the defacto complainant.
3. Mr.P.Balan, learned Counsel for the defacto complainant entered appearance by filing vakalat.

4. A Joint Compromise Memo also filed along with the Petition along with respective copies of the identity card of the Petitioners as well as the defacto complainant / second defacto complainant.
5. The Petitioners and the second Respondent are directed that they shall obtain appropriate decree of divorce from the Family Court or the Special Judge concerned. The alleged deed executed by them is only recording the settlement arrived before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, attached by this Court that cannot be taken as decree of divorce.
6. In the light of the settlement, the F.I.R. in Crime No.215 of 2020, on the file of the first Respondent Police, is hereby quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
