ORDER

The petitioner filed an application under Section 63 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act 22 of 1959, for appointing him as a hereditary trustee. That application is pending as O.A.No.29 of 2016 without disposal. Aggrieved over the long pendency, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Considering the pendency, a direction is given to the first respondent to dispose of the application in O.A.No.29 of 2016 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
