ORDER

The petitioner is figuring as an accused in Crime No.645 of 2015 registered on the file of the first respondent herein. 2.The petitioner as well as the defacto complainant are practising lawyers. Therefore, I suggested that the issue should be given quietus.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the defacto complainant, on instructions, states that the defacto complainant will be satisfied, if the petitioner gives a letter of unconditional apology.

4.The petitioner's counsel agrees to do so. The petitioner is, therefore, directed to hand over a hand written letter of apology addressed to the defacto complainant. The petitioner's counsel will hand over the letter to the learned counsel appearing for the defacto complainant within a period of one week.

5. I am of the view that FIR need not be kept alive. Hence, it stands quashed. This criminal original petition stands allowed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

on these terms. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.

6.The said letter will contain a further undertaking that the petitioner will not interfere with the professional and other activities of the defacto complainant.
