ORDER

The petitioner wants this Court to quash the impugned FIR which has been registered for the offences under Sections 25(1) (d) r/w 11 and 25(1) (A) of the Arms Act. The petitioner's counsel states that the only material against the petitioner is the confession of the co-accused. But then, the fact remains that the criminal original petition has been filed even at the FIR stage. Therefore, I am not inclined to interfere at this stage. Leaving open all the contentions and defences, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
