O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioner to expedite the investigation in Crime No.195 of 2012 dated 12.03.2012 on the file of the respondent police and file a final report within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side).

3. It is clearly stated in the petition that after registering the case in Cr.No.195 of 2012 for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 427 and 506(ii) I.P.C., the respondent police have neither arrested the accused nor recovered the material documents from the place of occurrence. Further, there is no acceptable and sufficient reasons furnished by the respondent police for not completing the investigation in Cr.No.195 of 2012 dated 12.03.2012 for the past four years.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is very much correct in approaching this Court to pass orders by directing the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Cr.No.195 of 2012 dated 12.03.2012 on the file of the respondent police and to take appropriate action in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Considering the above mentioned facts and circumstances and also on perusal of material records, this Court directs the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Cr.No.195 of 2012 and also take appropriate further action in accordance with law within a period of two months from today, without fail.
