ORDER

The learned counsel for the writ petitioner reports no instructions. 2.I went through the contents of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. The prayer in the writ petition is for forbearing the 2/6

respondents from implementing the peace committee meeting resolution dated 26.09.2015. It is well settled that a peace committee meeting does not have statutory backing. The decisions taken therein do not have statutory value or consequence. Be that as it may, the jurisdictional Tahsildar has given written instructions to the learned Additional Government Pleader that till date, in the village accounts, the names of the individuals continues to be reflected. It appears that the petitioner's land has not been taken possession till date. If the petitioner or another individual has any subsisting legal grievance, it is always open to them to move this Court again.

3.With this liberty, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 01.08.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias 3/6
