This Writ Petition is filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent No.1 to consider the petitioners' claim and extend the lease period of the petitioners for shops at TUFIDCO Shopping Complex and T.Kallupatti Town Panchayat Bus Stand and consequently, to forbear the respondents 1 to 3 from evicting the petitioners from their respective shops bearing Shop Nos.19, 20, 7, 10, 13, 12, 1824, 25, 8 and 14 without following the due process of law.
2.It is admitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioners that in a subsequent batch of Writ Petitions with similar prayer, the Writ Petitions filed by other lessees were dismissed and the matter has become final, as the Honourable Supreme Court has approved the judgment of this Court dismissing the batch of Writ Petitions. Hence, the learned Counsel for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. Recording the endorsement made by the learned Counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
