PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents more particularly the respondents 5 and 6 from committing encounter of the petitioner's husband Gopal @ Gopalakrishnan, aged about 30 years, against false cases registered by the respondents 5 and 6 jurisdiction on the confession given by the co-accused.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus forbearing the respondents, more particularly the respondents 5 and 6, from committing encounter of the petitioner's husband Gopal @ Gopalakrishnan, against the false cases registered by the respondents 5 and 6 on the confession given by co-accused.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner's husband, namely Gopal @ Gopalakrishnan, was murdered on 06.10.2021 and the case in Crime No.399 of 2021, on the file of the 6th respondent, has been registered and is pending investigation.

3. In view of the above submission, there is no necessity to make any further adjudication in this writ petition and accordingly, the same is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
