Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records relating to the impugned letter passed by the respondent in Na.Ka.44568/2021/NeA2, dated 01.10.2021 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to issue certified copies of the public documents sought by the petitioner in his representation/application dated 10.08.2021 made under Section 74 and 76 of Indian Evidence Act, 1872 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by one K.S.Marimuthu, who is aged 56 years and who appears to have participated in the recruitment process for the post of Assistant and Junior Assistant to all Co-operative Societies and other Society banks.

2. The age of the petitioner is 56 years which itself disqualifies the petitioner for right to seek any appointment. The petitioner however filed an application seeking information with respect to the details of recruitees and all other aspects. That application had been rejected by the respondent claiming that the information relates to third parties and therefore, it cannot be given.

3. A Certiorarified Mandamus cannot be granted in this regard and the order speaks for itself and if the petitioner wants, he can take up steps in accordance with law but not certainly take recourse to filing a Writ Petition. 4. The petitioner has not made out any case that he is entitled for such information. At the age of 56 years as stated above, he cannot seek employment in any Government office. The age debars him and thereafter, making a roving enquiry into the nature of appointments made, only shows that the petitioner is not either directly or indirectly interested in the recruitment process but interested only in putting spokes and derailing the process which had already been completed.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
