ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed for a direction to the respondents 1st and 2nd to produce the person or the body of the detenus namely Poonjselvi, W/o.V.Paramasivam, aged about 40 years old and minor daughter namely Parameswari, D/o.V.Paramasivam, aged about 12 years old before this Court and set them at liberty.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that this is the second 2/4

time, the wife of the petitioner was found missing. Earlier the petitioner's wife had gone along with minor child, the petitioner had filed Habeas Corpus Petition in H.C.P(MD)No.702 of 2023 and it was disposed on 27.06.2023. Now, a complaint has been given, pursuant to which, a case has been registered in Crime No.539 of 2025 under "Woman missing" and "Girl missing". The investigation is going on. He further submitted that preliminary investigation reveals that the petitioner's wife had gone on her own volition and she was not kidnapped by anybody and due to matrimonial dispute, the petitioner's wife had gone on her own volition.

4.Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. The respondents are directed to continue with the investigation.
