The petitioner before this Court is the wife and the respondent is the husband and their marriage was solemnized on 23.11.2015. After the marriage, both of them happily together for some time and thereafter, the 1/4
relationship between the parties got strained. Therefore, they are living separately and the petitioner has filed a petition seeking divorce in HMOP.No.48 of 2018 before the Family Court, Trichirappalli.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that in the divorce petition, the trial commenced on 08.11.2019 and the respondent's side evidence commenced on 24.09.2021. However, the respondent is still dragging on the proceedings by filing petition after petitions and therefore, she has filed the present revision petition seeking a direction to the Family Court, Trichirappalli to expedite the proceedings in HMOP.No.48 of 2018. 3.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner. There is no representation for the respondent. 4.It appears that though the trial was commenced as early as in the year 2019, the same is yet to be 2/4
concluded and the case is at the stage of the examination of the respondent. Considering the age of the proceedings, there shall be a direction to the learned Judge, Family Court, Trichirappalli, to expedite the proceedings in HMOP.No.48 of 2018 and to conclude the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
