RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to uspend the sentence of imprisonment for life for offence U/s.302 of IPC and to pay fine of Rs.500000/-(Rupees Five Lakhs only) in default of fine amount to undergo 3 years simple imprisonment, for an offence U/s.201 of IPC sentenced to undergo 7 years rigorous imprisonment imposed on the appellant by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai, by his Judgment dated 16.06.2022 in S.C.No. 98/2020, pending disposal of this Criminal Appeal.

Pleased to call for records and allow the appeal and acquit the appellants by setting aside the judgment dated 16.06.2022 in S.C.No.98 of 2020 on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai.
