ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.ARUL MURUGAN, J.) The Writ Petition is filed challenging the order of the third respondent, dated 28.04.2025 and seeking a consequential direction to the respondents 1 to 6 to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 7 to 9 in Government land, which is the subject matter in the Writ Petition. 2.Pursuant to the directions issued by this Court on 30.07.2025, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pattukottai, conducted an inspection along with other revenue officials and submitted a report before this Court vide proceedings dated 11.08.2025.

3.In the report, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pattukottai, submitted that the lands forming the subject matter of the dispute raised in the Writ Petition are recorded under the Natham UDR scheme as follows: With respect of the land in Survey No.116/26, it is recorded as a pathway in the revenue records and no encroachment was found in the said survey number. Further, in respect of the lands in Survey Nos.116/31, 116/34 and 116/35 and 116/37, they are recorded as Natham vacant sites. Only a portion of the land in Survey No.116/37 is used as a pathway and the remaining lands are lying vacant. Further, in Survey No.116/35, two houses are found to be situated.

4.In view of the above detailed report filed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pattukottai, after conducting an inspection and finding that no encroachment exists in Survey No.116/26 as alleged by the petitioner, no further orders are required in this Writ Petition. 4/7
