[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2014, for removing the encroachment made in the water channel at Ward No.4, Kamarajapuram Uralpatti, Pannaikadu, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. The respondents 4 and 5, alleged encroachers, have filed a detailed counter affidavit and typed set containing photographs showing that there is no encroachment in the subject land, as alleged by the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that the authorities concerned conducted an inspection in the place in question and found that there is no encroachment by the private respondents herein, as alleged by the petitioner.

4. Recording the above submission, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
