This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the proceedings in P.R.C.No.19 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Thirumangalam.

2. The defacto complainant Dhanasekar @ Dhanasekarapandian and the victim Thangapandian are present in person before this Court. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18172 of 2021 The defacto complainant categorically states before this Court that they have no objection for quashing the impugned proceedings. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned proceedings alive. The parties have also filed a joint compromise memo dated 30.10.2021. It shall form part of this order. The impugned proceedings are quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
