O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) When the petitioner's daughter Bhavani, aged about 19 years had gone missing from her house on 07.08.2023, she had given a complaint before the second respondent police, which was registered in Crime No.194 of 2023 under the caption "woman missing". Since the petitioner's daughter could not be traced within a reasonable time, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.
2. Today, when the matter was called, the second respondent herein had secured the petitioner's daughter and produced her before us. According to the petitioner's daughter, she had left her parents owing to their coercion to get married without her consent.
3. The petitioner, who was also present before this Court, stated that she would not be compel her daughter to get married now and that the marriage can be performed as and when she wishes. Both the petitioner as well as her daughter have given statements before the second respondent police, reiterating the statements taken by them before us. The petitioner's daughter has also reconciled with her mother. As such, the grievance of the petitioner has been met and hence, no further orders are required in this Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
