ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the revision petition in D.R.O.Appeal No.B5/2794/25 dated 16.06.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner filed the above revision before the second respondent seeking cancellation of patta issued in the name of one Kaliyammal, wife of Ramakrishnan in respect of the property situated in S.No.67/4, Keelaparuthiyur Village, Paramakudi Taluk. The said revision has not been taken up for consideration. Hence, the petitioner approached this Court with the above mentioned prayer.

4. The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for R1 to R3 would submit that the revision filed by the petitioner is pending on the file of 2/5

the second respondent and the next date of enquiry is 28.08.2025.

5. The perusal of the typeset of papers would indicate the above mentioned Kaliyammal is no more and she has got four children namely, Shanmugapriya, Sangeetha (4th respondent herein), Senthilkumar and Gowthami. In view of the same, without expressing any merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the revision filed by the petitioner dated 16.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve(12) weeks from 28.08.2025 after issuing notice to the petitioner and the legal heirs of the above mentioned Kaliayammal.
