Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The petitioner has sought to impound the passport of the private respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that criminal case was registered against them and that they might flee the country.
4. I wanted to know the status of the criminal case. The learned Additional Government Pleader states that the criminal case registered against the private respondents was closed as 'action dropped'. Hence, no relief can be granted in this writ petition.
5. The Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
