ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner herein had suffered an order under Section 6 of the Land Encroachment Act. Questioning the said order dated 08.07.2025, the petitioner had filed an appeal under Section 10 of the Act before the first respondent. The petitioner seeks disposal of the said appeal.

3. No exception can be taken to the said request. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the writ petitioner's appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter. Till the appeal is disposed of, the order passed under Section 6 of the Act will not be enforced.
