ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent No.1 to dispose the application filed under Section 70 of the Wakf Act 1995, dated 06.08.2015 within a time frame.

2.It is stated that though an application was filed by the petitioner on 06.08.2015, it is reported that the said representation/application is still pending before the first respondent.

3.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection for issuing a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the application, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

W.P.(MD) No.18293 of 2015 4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer and the representation of the learned standing counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is allowed with a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner on 06.08.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
