ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to approve the appointment of petitioner as PG Assistant in Botany in the 4th respondent school namely St.Mary Higher Secondary School, Kaliyal, Kanyakumari District with effect from 02.06.2025 and disburse grant-in-aid towards her salary and other allowances.

2. The petitioner's appointment as PG Assistant (Botany) has been sent for approval by the fourth respondent even on the date of appointment. The staff fixation order for the academic year 2024-2025 would also indicate that there is one sanctioned post in the school. It is 2/4

the case of the petitioner that in view of the vacancy that arose due to the retirement of the incumbent, the petitioner was appointed as PG Assistant - Botany and no order has been passed by the respondents on the proposal for approval of her appointment.

3. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the proposal forwarded by the fourth respondent with regard to the approval of the petitioner's appointment as PG Assistant in Botany. The respondents are also directed to consider the order passed by the Court in W.P(MD)No.26799 of 2025 while granting approval to the appointment of the petitioner.
