ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to survey and demarcate the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No. 64/35A1A situated at Viraganur Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District by considering the petitioner's petition dated 16.07.2025 within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

Heard the arguments of Mr.K.Malaimaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, leaned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the third respondent. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner is said to have purchased the subject property under a sale deed dated 16.12.1981. The patta for the subject property was also issued in the petitioner's name under Patta No.86. She filed an application 2/5

on 16.07.2025 in Application No. 2025/0123/24/017893, seeking a survey of the subject property, but the same has not been considered. Hence, she has approached this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, would submit that the application of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 16.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
