PRAYER :- For Anticipatory bail in Crime No.294 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections147, 148, 341, 294(b), 323, 324, 326, 354(b), 506(ii) I.P.C. and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 1998, in Crime No.294 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 07.11.2021 at about 7.30 a.m., the petitioners assembled with deadly weapons, waylaid the informant and one Muneeswaran of their village, abused them using filthy language, assaulted them, caused injuries and made criminal intimidation. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent police submitted that the injured is still in hospital due to grievous head injury. There is a case in counter case. In the counter case all the accused persons have been granted bail. 5.Since the injured person is still in hospital as inpatient and taking treatment for his severe head injury, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. However, the petitioners can revive the petition after discharge of the injured person from the hospital.
