ORDER

When the writ petition was posted in the list for hearing on 31.01.2020, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Court directed the office to list the matter today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even though the writ petition is posted under the caption for dismissal, the learned counsel by name Mr.Jeyaraman, informed this Court that the petitioner has taken the bundle to engage some other Advocate. W.P.(MD).No.18421 of 2015 When the writ petition was posted on 31.01.2020, the counsel did not appear. The contention of the the petitioner's counsel that papers are handed over to the petitioner for engaging some other Advocate at this stage cannot be entertained. Since the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the matter, this Court is unable to adjourn for no purpose.

2.Hence, this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
