2. These writ petitions have been filed seeking for a certiorarified mandamus to quash the impugned refusal check slip dated 21.07.2025 and consequently, register the Sale Deed.

3. Through the impugned order, the respondents have stated that the petitioners have not paid sufficient stamp duty and hence, the respondents have rejected the registration of sale deed.

4. For insufficient stamp duty the respondents cannot refuse registration. After registration, the respondents have power to refer the document under Section 47A. Therefore, the impugned refusal check slip dated 21.07.2025 is quashed. Accordingly, these writ petitions are allowed by directing the respondents to register the documents/sale deeds and thereafter, refer the same under Section 47A.
