For Respondent : Mr.M.Veerendhiran, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 296 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC, in Cr.No.296 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 29.06.2022, when the defacto complainant was attending funeral ceremony of his grandmother, the petitioner and other accused have created trouble and altercation with others and the same was questioned by the defacto complainant, the petitioner and other accused attacked him, abused him in filthy language and also threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

CRL OP(MD). No.16871 of 2022 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the counter case in Crime No.295 of 2022 is pending against the de-facto complainant and three others.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner is having six previous cases and A4 was already arrested and released on bail.

5.Considering the previous antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
