Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner wants the first respondent to impound the passport of the third respondent. Such a direction cannot be straightaway issued by the writ Court. The police authorities can apply to the first respondent. In the alternative, the petitioner can move the jurisdictional criminal Court for relief.

3. Granting such liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
