ORDER
This transfer petition is at the instance of the wife. She seeks withdrawal of O.S.No.22 of 2025 from the file of Family Court, Puducherry and transfer the same to Family Court, Thoothukudi, Thoothukudi District.

2. Heard Mr.K.Muthurakkan, learned Counsel for Petitioner and Mr.G.Rajaguru, learned Counsel for Respondent.
3. The marriage between Petitioner and Respondent was solemnized on 22.04.2024 as per Christian rites and customs. Due to differences, parties have been separated. Thereafter, Respondent filed a petition in O.S.No.22 of 2025 on the file of Family Court, Puducherry, seeking for divorce.
4. This Court vide order dated 16.12.2025 referred the matter to mediation. Pursuant to the mediation, parties have amicably resolved all their disputes and differences. Petitioner and Respondent entered into a settlement agreement dated 23.01.2026 before the Mediation centre and the same is reads as follows:
SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT This settlement agreement entered into on 23.01.2026 between Priya Petitioner and Anand Issack respondent.
WHEREAS
1. Disputes and differences had arisen between the parties hereto and Tr.C.M.P.(MD).No. 450 of 2025 2/6
was filed on 25.07.2025 before the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court.
2. The matter was referred to mediation vide an order dated 16.12.2025 passed by the Hon'ble Mr.Justice.MOHAMMED SHAFFIQ.
3. The parties agreed that M.Ashokkumar would act as their mediator and co-mediator.
4. Several meetings were held during the process of mediation/ conciliation from 06.01.2026 to 23.01.2026 and the parties herein have with the assistance of the Mediators voluntarily arrived at an amicable solution resolving the above-mentioned disputes and differences.
5. The parties hereto confirm and declare that they have voluntarily and of their own free will arrived at this settlement agreement in the presence of the Mediators.
6. The following settlement has been arrived between the parties hereto:
a. It is agreed that the respondent shall pay a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- a one time settlement towards alimony. b. It is further agreed that the amount shall be paid on the date of filing of petition for divorce by way of mutual consent.
c. It is further agreed that the marriage solemnized on 22.04.2024 at Sawyerpuram Church, Thoothukudi may be dissolved.

d. It is further agreed that the respondent shall withdraw the O.S.No. 22 of 2025 on the file of the Family Court, Puducherry.
e. It is further agreed that a fresh petition for mutual divorce shall be filed before the District Court or Family Court, Thoothukudi and the expenses will be borne by the petitioner herein.
7. By signing this agreement the parties hereto state that they have no further claims or demands against each other with respect to Tr.C.M.P.(MD).No.450 of 2025 and all disputes and differences in this regard have been amicably settled by the parties hereto through the process of mediation.
5. This transfer civil miscellaneous petition stands disposed of in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 23.01.2026. The Settlement Agreement shall be treated as part and parcel of this order.
