O R D E R

The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider the revision of the Petitioner in Na.Ka.B5/15251/2022, dated 21.11.2024, on the file of the second respondent and dispose of the same within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The Petitioner's brother Thangal Mohammed filed an application before the Revenue Divisional Offier Paramakudi seeking cancellation of patta in respect of the property in S.No. 3/5, Block No.3, Ward-B Paramakudi Town. The said application was dismissed by the Revenue Divisional Officer on 14.10.2022. Aggrieved by the same, the Petitioner filed a revision before the second respondent on 7.12.2023. The same was taken on file in Na.Ka.B5/15251/2022, dated 21.11.2024. The same has not been considered till date. Hence, the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 2/5

4.It is also brought to the notice of this Court that pending revision, the Petitioner's brother Thangal Mohammed died and the Petitioner herein had entered appearance on behalf of his brother in the revision.

5.Mr.A.Baskaran learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the enquiry is going on before the second respondent and the next date of hearing is 20.8.2025.

6.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the revision pending on his file and pass final orders on its own merits, after affording reasonable opportunity to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 16 weeks from the date of a copy of this order. 7.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
