The petitioner seeks police protection. It appears that he is having a civil dispute with the accused in Crime No.272 of 2016. The petitioner's counsel states that the petitioner has also filed O.S.No.63 of 2016 on the file of the District Munsif, Thirumangalam for permanent injunction and that an interim order has also been granted in his favour.
2. Hence, it is always open to the petitioner to move the Court below for further relief and direction. If the injunction order granted by the Court below is being breached, the offending parties can be punished at the instance of the petitioner herein. The Court below will be in a better position to assess the ground realities. Liberty is given to the petitioner to work out his rights in the manner known to law.
3. The criminal original petition stands disposed of, accordingly.
