ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A5, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 452, 294(b), 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, r/w 3, 4 of Tamil Nadu Prevention of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, in Crime No. 328 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that there was money dispute between petitioner and the defacto complainant, due to which, the petitioner and other accused persons trespassed into the house of the defacto complainant and taken away some documents, which was kept in her house and also threatened her with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that there was some dispute between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, due to money transaction, the petitioner along with others trespassed into the house of the defacto complainant and threatened her with dire consequences. 5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged by the prosecution and also the facts that the co-accused is in judicial custody and that investigation is not yet completed, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this point of time.
