The petitioners are facing trial in C.C.No.75 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Trichirapalli, for the offences under Sections 379 and 420 of IPC. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner reiterated the contentions set out in the memorandum of grounds. 3.I am of the view that they are not sufficient for invoking the inherent powers of this Court. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter.
