This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to survey the petitioner's land in Old S.Nos.43/10-11A2, 13/6D, 15/7A and 16/14 New S.Nos.43/108B, 52/1A1, 13/6B1B, 10/16, 10/16 and 10/17 situated at Mangalagudi Village, Madurai East, Madurai District based on the petitioner's applications, dated 05.10.2021 and 12.10.2021 and pass orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.M.Ramu, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that a rival claimant to the aforementioned properties has already filed a suit in O.S.No.138 of 2021 before the District Munsif Court, Madurai. The learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty of this Court to raise all defences known to the petitioner under law in the said civil suit.
