Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of passport for her minor son. The relationship between the petitioner and her husband is under strain. Since his father has not put his signature, there is some difficulty in issuing the passport.

3. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that he has no objection for issuing passport in favour of the minor son.

4. The first respondent is directed to issue passport in favour of the minor son without insisting on consent or signature from the second respondent. This writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
